Carbon County man killed in motorcycle crash

WHITEHALL TWP., LEHIGH COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Lehigh County Coroner reports a motorcyclist was killed in a crash after he lost control.

According to Coroner Daniel Buglio, 33-year-old James Gallagher of Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital after a motorcycle crash.

Crash causes lane restrictions on Route 15

The crash occurred around 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Fullerton Avenue in Whitehall Township when Gallagher lost control and struck a curb.

Gallagher was pronounced dead at the hospital around 50 minutes later.
