Car in Wisconsin ends up in marshy area, police remind drivers to pay attention while driving

PORTAGE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in central Wisconsin are reminding motorists to pay attention while driving after a car ended up in a marshy area.

The Portage Police Department posted on its Facebook page about a recent incident that reportedly involved distracted driving. The department also posted a photo of a car in a marshy area.

Officials say that the driver was not injured and there were not many cars and people on the road at the time of the incident.

This is what can happen if you are not paying attention when you are driving. Please be mindful of your surroundings. Luckily the driver was not injured and, due to the time of night there were very few cars and people on the road. This could have been much worse.
