Car trouble leads to arrests of woman, wanted man in Stafford County
STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Deputies said they arrested two people whose car broke down Wednesday night.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) received a report of a disabled vehicle at the intersection of Warrenton Road and Old Forge Drive around 10:40 p.m. When deputies spoke to the driver, SCSO said she showed signs of being under the influence and that she admitted to taking controlled substances.
While a deputy performed a field sobriety test on the woman, another deputy talked to the passenger.

That’s when the deputy found out that the passenger, Kenneth Outlaw Jr., was wanted out of Spotsylvania. Deputies found what they believed were controlled substances when they searched him.
The woman was charged with driving under the influence and was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $5,000 bond. Outlaw was charged with possession of controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute, falsely identifying himself to law enforcement and served on his outstanding warrant.
As of Thursday, he was in Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
