Car smashes into Dothan hair salon

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — Employees at a Dothan hair salon was shocked Thursday afternoon when a car plowed through the front of the building.

According to staff at C&C Hair Factory, an elderly customer was trying to park and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, accelerating the car and smashing through the front of the building.

Two people were inside the salon at the time of the crash, but no one was injured.

Employees are cleaning up the broken glass and debris, and the front entrance has been taped off.

The salon is expected to open Monday, May 13.
