Car fire breaks out in Kensington auto body shop

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews were at the scene of a fire in an auto body shop in Kensington on Sunday evening.

David Pazos, Assistant Chief with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, said the fire happened at 6:40 p.m. at Kelly’s Autobody, which is at 10644 Connecticut Ave. Officials extinguished a car fire there and evaluated two people for non-life-threatening injuries.

No one was taken to the hospital.
