Car Drives Through Floodwaters as Arizona Governor Issues Declaration of Emergency

Arizona’s Governor, Doug Ducey issued a declaration of emergency for the city of Flagstaff and Coconino County, as intense flooding hit parts of the state on July 16.

At least one person, who went missing from a Colorado River rafting trip in the Grand Canyon, was found dead on Thursday.

An areal flood warning for the San Pedro River from Saint David to Dudleyville was issued by the National Weather Service. Locals were urged to remain vigilant and avoid travelling through floodwaters.
