Car crashes through front doors of Hampton Post Office

HAMPTON, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Carter County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said crews are working to clear a vehicle that crashed into the U.S. Postal Service Office in Hampton on Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the CCSO told News Channel 11 that the incident took place at around 2:20 p.m. at the post office, located at 433 U.S. 321 in Hampton.

Man charged in connection of Greeneville woman’s death takes plea deal

The CCSO said EMS and deputies were on scene with the local fire department, and that a vehicle had crashed through the front doors of the building. No information regarding injuries or people involved was available.
