Capri Sun-style pouches of whisky are the best thing to happen since whisky

Forget wine of the month clubs — what we truly need are whisky of the month clubs.

A new subscription service called Whisky Me recently launched in the U.K., and while the idea of subscription boxes with booze is nothing new, the company's packaging is pretty neat.

Each month, a new whisky will arrive in the mail in a little pouch, sort of like those Capri Sun pouches you used to drink as a kid. Thankfully, these have a twist-off top, so you won't get an eyeful of whiskey trying to poke through the pouch with a straw.

For £7 a month, a pouch containing five centiliters of a "rare or exclusive single malt whisky" will show up in your mailbox each month, along with some handy info about the booze, because if you're ordering a whisky subscription box, you're probably a whisky nerd.

While the bag service is only based in the U.K. (for now) we expect someone in the United States will likely copy this real soon, though there are plenty of similar services currently available for all your alcohol needs.

Regardless, the vessel seems convenient, and we would like to see more of these available, subscription or not.
