As the Miami Rescue Mission gears up to feed thousands during the Thanksgiving holiday,

its recent partnership for the expansion of the

Capponi Construction Group will increase capacity by adding 78 beds and complete the expansion of the Miami-based homeless shelter, giving the new building at 2031 NW 1 Ct. an avant-garde look and feel.

Michael Capponi has a long history of leading humanitarian initiatives, focusing his efforts on supporting Miami Rescue Mission’s aim to feed, house and provide services to the local homeless community.
In 2008, proceeds from Capponi’s birthday fundraiser benefitted the Miami Rescue Mission, and other non-profit organizations. The following year, Capponi contributed a new health clinic for the homeless, sponsored the
Great Thanksgiving Day Banquet, and donated a vehicle named
Hope Mobile to the Miami Rescue Mission, for which he serves as an Advisory Board member.
