Capitol View: Arkansas focuses on maternal healthcare

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – In honor of Mother’s Day, we’ll explore what Arkansas is doing to reduce maternal mortality and improve women’s health.

Guest host Olivia Walton discusses state policy with State Medicaid Director Janet Mann and UAMS’ Dr. Sam Greenfield, OB/GYN and Chair of the Arkansas Maternal Mortality Review Committee.

Arkansas lawmakers, medical experts hold maternal health roundtable

They discuss topics ranging from some of the complications concerning Medicaid to the executive order signed in March by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders to improve maternal healthcare through a newly formed committee.
