Capital City Classic 10K race coming back to Little Rock metro

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Capital City Classic 10K race will return to Little Rock this week after canceling last year’s event due to the March 31 tornado.

Little Rock Roadrunners Club president Brent Corbit joined Arkansas Today with details about the big race this weekend in downtown Little Rock.

Little Rock runner completes all six races in Abbott World Marathon Majors

The race will be held Saturday, March 30 beginning at 8 a.m. Prizes range from $1,000-$5,000 in addition to gear and medals for participants.

Last year, the race was canceled after an EF-3 tornado tore through west Little Rock on March 31, 2023.

Tickets for the 2024 race are $45 and can be purchased at RunSignup.com.
