Cape Hatteras National Seashore warns of hazards, including septic systems, on beach

CAPE HATTERAS, N.C. (WAVY) — Cape Hatteras National Seashore is advising visitors to avoid the beach by the Ocean Drive in Rodanthe due to exposed wires, pipes and septic systems.

The Seashore is working with Dare County and the Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative on the exposed hazards.
