Cannes: Variety Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Polish Film Institute

Variety held a party at Rado Plage in Cannes Monday to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Polish Film Institute, whose general director, Agnieszka Odorowicz, launched the event.

Among those joining in the festivities were Magnus von Horn, whose feature film debut “The Here After” plays in Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, and the film’s producer Mariusz Wlodarski. Von Horn is from Sweden, but studied at the Polish National Film School in Lodz. His film was co-produced by Lava Films in Poland and Zentropa Intl. in Sweden.
