Candle, home fragrance company locating plant in Fulton, Kentucky; expects 150 jobs

FULTON, Ky. (AP) -- A candle-making company is locating a plant in western Kentucky, where it plans to create 150 full-time jobs.

Gov. Steve Beshear announced the decision by MVP Group International Inc., which expects to invest more than $5.2 million in the project in Fulton.

Beshear's office says MVP is the largest manufacturer worldwide of private label candles and home fragrance goods.

The plant will be located in an existing 60,000-square-foot facility in Fulton.

The project has received preliminary approval by the state for tax incentives up to $2 million.
