Canadian raccoon pays visit to McDonald's, leaves without Happy Meal

Stop us if you heard this before, but a raccoon walks into a McDonald's.

No, this isn't a joke that sounds like it would have an amazing punchline, it's what happened in Toronto this week.

As captured on TikTok, a raccoon visited a McDonald's, walking around looking for food. He instantly became the most popular critter in the joint, stealing some of Grimace's thunder.

He looked like he was trying to do his best impersonation of a Hamburgular, but after doing a few laps around the dining room, he decided to call it a night and headed out with his friends.

He did get some guidance from an employee who used a broom to usher the raccoon out of the store. Fortunately, the worker was gentle.

Maybe he was there for a Shamrock Shake?

While he wasn't welcome to stay in McDonald's, he became an instant hit on social media.

The video had more than 1 million views on TikTok.

That's a lot of fuss for an unsuccessful attempt to get a Happy Meal.
