LANCASTER, S.C. (AP) -- A Canadian company that makes pita bread, bagels, pizza crusts, flat bread, and tortilla wraps is getting ready to start construction on its first bakery in the United States.

Fancy Pokket is holding a ceremony Thursday morning to break ground on its new $13 million facility in Lancaster, S.C. It will employ 68 people.

The company from Moncton, New Brunswick, says its new bakery will also make gluten-free products for distribution all along the East Coast.
