Canada's Reinhart suspended for four games at world junior hockey championship

UFA, Russia - Canadian defenceman Griffin Reinhart has been suspended for four games at the world junior hockey championship.

The Edmonton Oil Kings defenceman won't play in Canada's bronze-medal game against Russia on Saturday.

Reinhart was given a minor penalty for high-sticking U.S. forward Vince Trocheck in Thursday's semifinal.

The International Ice Hockey Federation reviewed the play and handed out the additional discipline Friday.

Reinhart must serve the remaining three games at his next IIHF event.

Hockey Canada says it is appealing the suspension.
