Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau turns up to work dressed as Clark Kent for Halloween
While Donald Trump dressed up as himself for Halloween at the White House, his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau opted to turn up for work as DC Comics character Clark Kent.
He surprised members of the press by unveiling the Halloween outfit as left the House of Commons of Canada.
As he descended the steps of the house, Canada’s 45-year-old leader pulled his tie to one side to reveal a Superman T-shirt.
“I know it’s a big shock to see the prime minister dressed as a journalist but you know, gotta do it,” he said, speaking in a mixture of English and French.
He also sported thick-rimmed glasses, a blue suit and slicked back hair as he later trick-or-treated with his family in Ottawa.

The Halloween stunt divided opinion on Twitter with one responding: “Our PM is never boring! I bet his children had big smiles on their faces this morning! Their dad is their hero without a doubt!”
Another responded: “Okay, it's official, this guy is LITERALLY the coolest prime minister we have ever had!”

However a critic wrote: “When are we going to get a real adult to start running this country?”
In previous years, Trudeau has dressed up as Han Solo from Star Wars and as a character from French children’s classic Le Petit Prince.
