America's first Hello Kitty-themed cafe opened on July 15 at the Irvine Spectrum in California, and it's exactly as adorable as you would think.

The cafe premiered in food truck form in the fall of 2014, and it has spent some time on the road providing Hello Kitty treats all across the United States.

Now, the Hello Kitty Cafe has a semi-permanent home in Irvine, where the pop-up container cafe (which means it literally folds away into a giant container) is under a year-long residency.

Naturally, the cafe's design has no shortage of bows and the color pink.

The cafe has had such a successful first week that they've already had to turn customers away.

The cafe serves merchandise, coffee, tea and absolutely adorable desserts.

If you don't live near Irvine, no worries – the Hello Kitty food truck is still touring (it's at San Diego Comic-Con this week) so it could be on its way to your town soon.
