LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man has pleaded not guilty to charges that he snatched a 10-year-old girl from her home in Los Angeles last week.

Prosecutors say 29-year-old Daniel Martinez entered his plea Wednesday to one count each of kidnapping and burglary. Bail was set at $150,000 and he was scheduled to return to court April 10.

Prosecutors on Wednesday filed the charges against Martinez as well as kidnapping and nearly three dozen other counts against 30-year-old fugitive Tobias Summers.

The girl was abducted about 3 a.m. March 27 and found about 12 hours later wandering near a Starbucks about six miles away.

Prosecutors accuse Summers of forcing the girl to perform sexual acts and pose for nude photographs.
