Butler LB feels wrath of bulldog mascot Blue after accidentally stepping on him

When Butler ran out onto the field ahead of its home opener against Taylor University on Saturday, linebacker Xavier Colvin led the way with the Flag of Indianapolis.

But as Colvin began his run, he got tangled up with Butler Blue III, the school’s live bulldog mascot. Colvin quickly felt Blue’s wrath. These photos from Jimmy Lafakis of the Butler Collegian are amazing:

As you can see, Blue gave Colvin a quick nip on the leg before the two regained their stride out of the tunnel.
