Businesses damaged in Wilkes-Barre fire

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — 28/22 News confirmed a stove started a fire at a Chinese restaurant in Wilkes-Barre.

Golden Star on North River Street was damaged by flames Sunday. They say it will take around three months until they are able to reopen.

The neighboring business, Northeast Auto Glass says they are working from their vans doing mobile work for now.

There is no power to the building so they are not able to repair cars until the city approves it after an inspection of their building.
