Business About Town for Dec. 10

Dec. 9---- Valdosta is getting another new restaurant. Signs show that Whiskey River Bar and Grill plans to open soon at 1703 Gornto Road, the site of the former Locos Grill and Pub.

— Another new eatery coming to Valdosta is a Mexican restaurant, Chapinmex Taquiera. It will be going in at 413 Northside Drive in a former Huddle House building that was most recently Captain Hook's Seafood and Chicken.

— A new Jiffy Lube automotive center is under construction on Bemiss Road just barely within Valdosta — a city limits sign is in front of the building site. It's located next to Draper Tire and Automotive.

— Flying Tigers Storage is opening a facility on Bemiss Road near Skipper Bridge Road. it will be located in a shopping strip with a long-shuttered Winn-Dixie location.

— Cork and Barrel Spirit Merchants is building a store in Nashville. A Cork and Barrel already exists in Homerville.
