PENN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – First responders were at the scene of a business fire in Lancaster County Thursday morning and early afternoon.

Manheim Fire Chief Andrew Kirchner says they responded to the business off Route 72 around 10:20 a.m. They got the fire under control by 11 a.m.

The owner of the business was injured in the fire.

“The owner who attempted to extinguish the fire himself received burns on his arms and underneath his throat and chest,” Chief Kirchner said. “[He received] first and second degree burns.”
