Burundi state radio resumes broadcasts with music

BUJUMBURA (Reuters) - Burundi state radio resumed broadcasts on Thursday by playing music after going off air when heavy gunfire had been heard in the area of the state broadcaster's headquarters, a Reuters witness said. It was not immediately clear if loyalists to President Pierre Nkurunziza or supporters of an attempt to overthrow him were in control of the state broadcaster.
