It’s natural, naturally.

Burt's Bees has been a top lip-balm pick of ours for some time — the iconic, waxy drugstore staple works wonders on flaky, dry lips. Now, Burt's Bees new makeup line is here, in the form of a seven-piece collection that hits stores in September.

Although to brand already had some amazing lipsticks in their portfolio, they've added a new product — the glossy lipstick — along with six staple products including liquid and powder foundation, blush, mascara, three-pan eye shadow palettes, liner, and brow pencil. According to Refinery29, the liquid foundation offers serious coverage thanks to the consultation of makeup artist Toby Fleishman, who says the drugstore formula is just as good as any prestige bottle. "It lives in that luminous sweet spot: not too matte, but not too dewy, either," Toby said. At just $16.99, it stacks up with formulas that are double or triple the price tag of the Burt's Bees foundation.

Another standout from Burt's Bees new makeup line are the $12.99 eyeshadow palettes, all which have names in homage to nature (think: Countryside Lavender, Dusty Woods) and an ethereal color payoff. And contact lens wearers can rejoice over the ophthalmologist-tested and -approved mascara, also with a price tag of $12.99. And like everything else you'd expect from a clean beauty line like Burt's Bees, the products are dermatologist tested (but never, ever on animals) and are all formulated without parabens, phthalates, SLS, petrolatum, talc, synthetic fragrances or silicones. See you at the drugstore.
