Burlington stores donates $5,000 to Price Elementary, Falls school district announces

Burlington Stores has donated $5,000 to a Cuyahoga Falls school through its partnership with the nonprofit AdoptAClassroom.org.

The retail chain, which just celebrated the reopening of its Cuyahoga Falls store at 430 Howe Ave, announced the donation to Price Elementary on Tuesday, in keeping with a company tradition of donating to a local school with each new store opening.

Principal Amanda Wycuff said in a news release that teachers will use the funds to purchase books, pencil sharpeners, school supplies, science and STEM materials as well as headphones for their classrooms.

"We are thankful for the support we received from Burlington and AdoptAClassroom.org, Wycuff said.”
