New Burlington store opening in closed Bed Bath & Beyond in Passaic County

CLIFTON — Burlington Stores will open its latest location by late spring in the River Front Center on Route 3 west.

Once the home of Bed Bath & Beyond, 404 Route 3 will house Burlington, an off-price department store once known as Burlington Coat Factory.

The new store brings the total number to 48 in New Jersey and more than 1,000 nationwide. Burlington offers women's fashion and accessories, menswear including big and tall sizes, children's clothing, footwear, baby goods and home décor.

Mayor Raymond Grabowski said Burlington's announcement is great news for Clifton.

"It's nice when national brands come to the city," he said. "It helps the city by bringing more people here to shop."
