Last summer, Burger King gifted/trolled (depending on how you look at it) the world with neon orange macaroni and cheese bites. And then it doubled down with the addition of cheese-dusted chicken fries. Because you can never get enough Cheetos, right?

After serving both of those items for a limited-time, they eventually came off menus once supplies ran out. Sad day for fake cheese lovers, sigh of relief for mac and cheese haters.

But now the brand is bringing them back! According to QSR magazine, BK has given in to the demand of fans who are having withdrawals from the Cheetos-encrusted fried mac and cheese. "Mac n' Cheetos is the cheesiest, most amplified version of mac n' cheese imaginable," Marissa Solis, vice president of marketing at PepsiCo Foodservice, told the industry publication.

Expect to see them hit restaurants in the next few weeks, at about $2.69 for a five-piece order-once again for a limited time.

You know those old Cheetos commercials, in which Chester the Cheetah would growl that the snacks were "dangerously cheesy?" That cheetah had no idea what was coming.

Bloomberg reports that Burger King is beginning to sell Mac n' Cheetos, fried macaroni and cheese bites coated in Cheeto dust. They seem like mozzarella sticks for people who just don't find them cheesy enough. They're coated with Cheeto dust and stuffed with macaroni and cheese.

Burger King has teamed up with Frito-Lay, which also paired up with Taco Bell to make those Doritos Locos taco shells. Mac n' Cheetos cost $2.49 for a pack of five, and are already popping up at some Burger Kings across the country; it will be available more widely starting June 27.

They have the shape like mozzarella sticks but the consistency of a chicken nugget. According to early reviews, they pack in even more cheese flavor than you expect-with a side of ranch dressing, in case it wasn't rich enough for you already.
