(KRON) — Charles Barkley has never been shy about his distaste for San Francisco, and during the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, he took aim at the City by the Bay once again.

Barkley hosted an alternate broadcast of the game with Draymond Green and TNT’s Taylor Rooks. After Green suggested that the NBA not bring All-Star weekend back to Indianapolis (the 2024 host city) due to cold weather, Barkley went after San Francisco, which will host the 2025 game.

“Hey Reggie,” Barkley asked Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller, who was also announcing the game, “if you had a chance to be in cold or be around a bunch of homeless crooks in San Francisco…”

The co-hosts cut off the NBA legend before he could finish his question. Green quipped, “Oh, that’s crazy!”

After Rooks said “we love San Francisco,” Barkley continued his attack.

“No we don’t,” he said. “You can’t even walk around down there.” Green pushed back against that comment, saying walking around is possible. Barkley retorted, “only with a bulletproof vest.”

Barkley has been critical of San Francisco in the past, especially during the Warriors’ 2022 run to an NBA championship. That year, he said he hated San Francisco and said the city was “hell.”
