Bumble gives employees one week off to heal from burnout
Dating app Bumble is giving its more than 750 employees a paid week off to help with the recovery from coronavirus-induced burnout.
The paid week off, which most employees are taking this week, is in addition to the company's regular vacation allowance.
"As vaccination rates rise and restrictions ease, we wanted to give the teams a much deserved week off to recover and refresh a bit," a Bumble spokesperson told the Washington Examiner.

A handful of Bumble's customer support staff remain working this week, but the employees will be given an opportunity to take their week of leave at a different time in June.
Bumble was founded in 2014 by Whitney Wolfe Herd and Andrey Andreev, who founded the dating app Badoo. The app allows users to match with each other and gives women the first opportunity to make contact.
