Buffalo man admits to production of child pornography

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man has pled guilty to production of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Officials say 36-year-old Michael Bevill engaged in sexual conduct with a minor child under 12 years old between June 2022 and August 2023.

He admitted to giving the child sedatives before taking photos and video of himself sexually abusing them on multiple occasions. Bevill then allegedly used the Telegram messaging app to send the pornography to another individual.

Bevill faces a maximum of 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

His sentencing is yet to be scheduled.
