Buffalo Bills snow art is back. Where to find the latest Josh Allen sculpture in Allegany County

The Buffalo Bills are surging, and Eric Jones is trending once again.

Western New York could get used to this pattern.

Jones, an Allegany County artist, went viral this week after unveiling his latest Buffalo Bills-inspired creation — a snow sculpture featuring quarterback Josh Allen eyeing a big pass downfield.

The Bills are preparing to visit Kansas City Sunday night in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, marking a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game.

This week has been deja vu of a different sort for Jones, whose artwork is once again taking off on social media during a Bills playoff run. His newest piece can be seen at 4783 Rt. 305 in front of the historic Block Barn in Cuba. Bonnie Blair, who owns the McKinney Stables, offered up the site. Jones credited Vinny Alejandro for painting the piece, which was sponsored by West Herr Auto Group.

Jones also thanked the Cuba Chamber of Commerce for its involvement. The Bills artwork has become a tourist attraction for the Allegany County village, which sits just up the road from Jones' home in rural West Clarksville.

Jones initially made a series of Bills-themed snow sculptures in his front lawn during Buffalo's stellar 2020 campaign, inspiring thousands of fans to stop by for selfies and group photos. The art displays were later shifted to Cuba, which is more accessible just off I-86.

Jones described his process to The Spectator last year. He starts out with big blocks of snow encased in plywood, and carves from there. The paint is the final touch.

Jones is no stranger to the spotlight. A caricature artist who offers custom work via his website, Jones has appeared on Halloween Wars, a popular reality TV program on the Food Network.

With consistent freezing temperatures in the long-range forecast, his latest creation isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

As for the Bills? Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
