Defeating the New England Patriots earlier this season, the most memorable moment from the game may have been the scuffle between the two teams during warmups. Though the Buffalo Bills got the last laugh as they left with the W, the team’s players have issued a stern warning to their AFC East rivals before the teams take the field on Sunday.

Jogging through the Bills warm up area, Jacoby Brissett set off a small kerfuffle between the two sides. Making sure that the Patriots know they didn’t appreciate the action, several members of the Buffalo Bills have already openly warned the Pats of “disrespecting” them, especially on the Bills home field.

Speaking to the media, cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman made it a point to bring up the topic. “It’s gonna be the same reaction that they got last time,” Robey-Coleman said. “There ain’t no other way around that situation, you know? Just respect each other’s sideline and move on.”

Also asked if he would be okay being fined over any pregame antics, Robey-Coleman issued a short but sweet “yes” answer. NRC was fined $9,115 for his role during the skirmish earlier this season.

Also talking about the issue, star cornerback Stephon Gilmore wasted no time in echoing his teammates comments about the subject. “We’re not gonna let nobody push us around. You know what I’m saying? We’re gonna play smart. We know them guys like to try to get under your skin and make you react a certain way. We’re gonna try to take it in between the lines and play good football.”

Despite the amount of comments his team has made on the subject, head coach Rex Ryan has stated that he does not believe this is a issue for his team, nor their focus for Sunday’s matchup. “Any of the extracurricular things, there’s absolutely zero focus on that and shouldn’t be any focus on that. It’s just about playing games.”

Sorry Rex, but I don’t believe that for a second. You after all, have thrived on these issues in the past. Using them to help build up and motivate your team, Rex Ryan you love these types of distractions. Hopefully though, you can once again put this issue to good use in preparing the Buffalo Bills.
