Buffalo Bills game against New England this Sunday will be season defining

Saying that the Buffalo Bills Week 8 matchup is anything less than season defining would be a massive understatement. Coming off a loss to Miami, the Bills enter Sunday’s game as a 4-3 team. Needing to get back on track, the Bills as a team cannot afford to slip up against the New England Patriots.

Dominating their AFC East rival earlier this season, the Bills benefited from the absence of quarterback Tom Brady. Having their star signal caller back under center this week, the Patriots are once again definite favorites against the Bills. After all, if a quarterback like Ryan Tannehill can lead his team to victory, there is little doubt that Brady can do the same.

Possessing an extremely talented unit on both sides of the football, the Buffalo Bills will have a tough time dealing with the newly invigorated Patriots. However, winning this game is not unlikely despite the issues facing the team. After all, how much good could a single player do, especially given the outcome of the team’s last matchup. A matchup that took place in Foxborough of all places.

With this game set to take place in Buffalo, the Bills will have the advantage of their home crowd and atmosphere. Having the fans behind them, the Buffalo Bills may be Tom Brady’s toughest opponent this season. If the Bills defense can get the same pressure they had earlier this season, the Bills have a decent shot at getting back on the right track.

However, that said, this is Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. They remember exactly what happened just a few weeks ago and they are out for revenge. Expect not only Tom Brady, but the rest of the Patriots roster to be fully prepared and ready for this contest. Bill Belichick will have his troops willing and ready. Can the Bills once again overcome that?

That’s a big ask. Coming off last week’s loss, the Bills have definitely lost some momentum. Possibly heading into this game a little flat, the Bills chances of a loss definitely have risen. However, if the Buffalo Bills come out and play the game that they played the previous four weeks before the loss at Miami, I think we will be looking at a season defining win for the Bills.
