Budweiser launches Padres limited-edition MLB team beer can

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A popular beer brand is letting fans show their Padres pride this spring with a new limited-edition beer can.

Budweiser just launched unique beer can designs for 16 MLB teams just in time for Opening Day, including a special one for San Diego featuring the Padres logo set against Petco Park in the background.

This season, Budweiser also announced the release of a new league can with the MLB logo, meant to please all fans of America’s favorite pastime.

The other 15 teams with limited-edition beer cans include:

• St. Louis Cardinals

• Chicago Cubs

• Arizona Diamondbacks

• Los Angeles Dodgers

• San Francisco Giants

• Miami Marlins

• Washington Nationals

• Baltimore Orioles

• Philadelphia Phillies

• Texas Rangers

• Tampa Bay Rays

• Cincinnati Reds

• Minnesota Twins

• New York Yankees

According to Budweiser, the Padres cans can be found wherever Budweiser is sold. The company is also giving away $50 in MLB merchandise for every home run hit this season.
