Bucket truck catches fire at Baldwin EMC

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WKRG) — A bucket truck caught fire Monday morning at Baldwin EMC, News 5 has learned.

Between 6:30 a.m. and 7:05 a.m., a bucket truck reportedly caught fire on the property of Baldwin EMC’s North Baldwin District Office, which is located off Highway 59 near Old Stockton Road.

The type of utility truck affected has a hydraulic pole and a bucket (hence the name) for a worker at the top of it.

According to Baldwin EMC’s Mark Ingram, no one was injured and there was no damage other than the truck.
