Bryan Cranston totally nailed it as James Corden's replacement on 'The Late Late Show'

James Corden called up his buddy Bryan Cranston to fill in for him as host on The Late Late Show while he continued to celebrate the birth of his baby girl and, it turns out, Walter White isn’t just good at cooking meth.

The Emmy-award winning actor totally nailed it as he took on the usual duties, starting with the trending news stories of the day. When it came to discussing the revelation that George Clooney held a dinner party where he gave 14 of his best friends $1 million each, Cranston said, “Wow, I guess all the time I spent with George on the movie Argo wasn’t as special as I thought.” He continued to point out that Clooney gave his friends all the money in $20 bills. “Now that’s a lot of money to just hand over to someone. Oh, gee, thanks, George. Hopefully I can make it to the bank with this giant bag of money without being murdered.”

Cranston also did the “Side Effects May Include” segment, during which he discussed the side effects of filling in for James Corden last-minute and asking your friends to call you “Crandemonium.” However, the best part of the bit was based on his Emmy-award winning role in Breaking Bad. “If you are thinking about getting a cancer diagnosis, having no money and realizing the only way to take care of your loved ones is by joining forces with a stoner and selling meth, you should know that there are side effects and those side effects may include constantly having to answer to ‘Yo bitch!’”

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle stars Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and Jack Black made an epic entrance into the sit-down interview portion of the show, when they discussed shaving their necks, backs, cracks, and sacks. Yes, you read that right. According to the former WWE wrestler and the Nacho Libre actor, wrestlers tend to be completely shaved, or waxed, everywhere.

Overall, the trio had a great rapport, and Cranston proved that if he ever decides to pick up another side hustle, late night talk show hosting is a viable option.
