Bruce Jenner, patriarch of the Jenner-Kardashian clan, stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday to chat about his famous family and of course, his new 'do!
The 61-year-old reality dad had been seen sporting a longer hairstyle until the Season 5 finale of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," where he made the long-awaited trim in an effort to "keep up" with his stylish wife and daughters.
"I'm a product of the '70s. I kind of grew up in the '70s with the long hair," Bruce told Access Hollywood Live's Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. "[My hair] was getting pretty ragged, but I didn't want to [cut] it till the season would be over with and so I held off and held off."
"Keeping up" with Bruce's wife Kris and her three daughters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian Odom, can be quite a task - a fact that makes the famous father extremely proud.
"You always want your kids to do well and you wonder what they're going to do when they grow up," Bruce told Billy and Kit. "And to see your kids out there - they work so hard.
"These girls work seven days a week, everyday. I mean, they're booked forever. And they are smart, intelligent business women and they do extremely well," Bruce beamed.
Bruce is extremely proud of all of his girls, and strives to keep life in "perspective" for his two youngest daughters -- Kylie, 13, and 15-year-old Kendall (who is inching her way toward the spotlight with a burgeoning modeling career).
"I worry about keeping everything in perspective and I talk to them a lot about that... just to make sure they keep life in proper prospective and we keep it normal," Bruce told Billy and Kit. "They go to school everyday, I carpool them."
Kit bonded with the proud papa over their shared track and field history -- the bubbly brunette was inspired as a child by Bruce's 1976 Summer Olympics Decathlon win -- and she proposed an offer to the reality dad.
"I was thinking I could be a Kardashian," Kit told Bruce. "With the name Kit I fit right in!
"What do you think I need though? A little more... assets?" she laughed, referencing the Kardashian girls' curvaceous physiques.
"Well, assets would help," Bruce smiled. "And smokier eyes. We gotta go with the smokey eyes."
