Brownsdale man injured in Watonwan Co. crash
Mar. 1—A Brownsdale man was injured Thursday night following a crash between two semis near St. James, Minnesota.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 39-year-old Corey Lee Stewart, driving a 2023 Peterbilt Semi, was traveling east on Highway 60 in Watonwan County when he collided with a 2018 Freightliner driven 50-year-old Iryna Kozachuk, of Girard, Ohio, was attempting to cross Highway 60 at around 8:41 p.m.
Stewart was taken to St. James Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Kozachuk was not injured.
The Watonwan County Sheriff's Office, St. James Fire Department and Madelia Police Department responded.
