BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam visited the team's headquarters Thursday, three days after FBI and Internal Revenue Service agents executed four search warrants at the his Pilot Fly J company's Knoxville, Tenn. headquarters.
Haslam joined Browns CEO Joe Banner and general manager Michael Lombardi as they prepare for their first draft with the franchise. Haslam is the CEO of Pilot Flying J.
Haslam's visit coincided with the third and final day of the Browns' initial voluntary minicamp under new coach Rob Chudzinski. Cleveland has the sixth overall pick in the first round of the draft, which takes place on April 25.
Haslam said Tuesday the investigation concerns rebates offered by the truck stop chain owned by his family, including his brother, Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam.
Jimmy Haslam said subpoenas had been issued to several members of his 23-person sales force, though he said he was unable to identify any specifically. Haslam said he had not been subpoenaed and no one has been arrested.
He purchased the Browns last year for $1.05 billion.
