Bronx Documentary Center’s 2nd Annual Benefit Photo Auction

The Bronx Documentary Center (BDC) is taking the Bronx to the Brooklyn Brewery to celebrate the center’s five-year anniversary and raise money for its future. Proceeds will fund educational programs, exhibitions and public programming.

The auction will feature the works of more than 40 internationally renowned and emerging photographers, including Lynsey Addario, Peter van Agtmael, Victor J Blue, Fabio Bucciarelli, Guillermo Cervera, John Conn, Joe Conzo, Martha Cooper, David “Dee” Delgado, David A. Delgado, Fanta Diop, Timothy Fadek, Donna Ferrato, Ricky Flores, Bud Glick, Chantal Heijnen, Todd Heisler, Tyler Hicks, Chris Hondros, Lisa Kahane, Michael Kamber, Ed Kashi, Phillip Leonian, Kadir van Lohuizen, Ira Mandelbaum, Diàna Markosian, Jim Nickelson, Edwin Pagán, Bill Pierce, Larry Racioppo, Emilie Régnier, Eugene Richards, Nina Robinson, Joseph Rodriguez, Richard Sandler, Aaron Siskind, Edwin J. Torres, Damon Winter.

In just five years, the BDC has had many successes, including dozens of thought-provoking exhibitions featuring photographers from the Bronx and from all over the world. The BDC has proudly trained up-and-coming photographers and documentarians in its South Bronx community through the Bronx Photo League, a mentorship and technical training program, and the Bronx Junior Photo League, its free afterschool program for Bronx youth.
