The Denver Broncos had a 2015 NFL offseason like no other Super Bowl champion in recent memory. With long-time starter Peyton Manning retired, the attention turned to re-signing Brock Osweiler, who decided to spurn the team and join the Houston Texans.

Acting in panic mode, John Elway traded for veteran Mark Sanchez, and drafted Paxton Lynch in the first-round of the draft. Denver’s quarterback situation is obviously a concern to many, but talk to some of their players and Elway himself, and they’ll tell you to not worry…about a thing…cause every little thing…is gonna be alright.

Per ESPN’s Jeff Legwold, Chris Harris Jr. assures Broncos fans their confidence remains sky high. “Elway, Coach Kubiak and the guys in the locker room, we’ve seen those guys work, we see our defense, we see our team,” Harris said. “We think we can win. What other people say, that’s all stuff we don’t really listen to.”

Fresh off a mega contract, linebacker Brandon Marshall is optimistic about this team going forward, per Legwold. “”Last year, every Sunday we put in work, we won the Super Bowl,” he said. “This year we’re ready to put in work again, we’re ready to be a team that wins. Positions don’t win, man, teams win. We’re a team.”

One thing Broncos fans must remember is this team won a Super Bowl in which Manning threw nine touchdowns and 17 interceptions in the regular season, along with just three touchdowns and an interception in the playoffs.

Osweiler’s numbers weren’t great by any means. With this group, you can be assured Sanchez will at least match what Brock did last year in six games.

“We like what Mark’s done, his progress. We like what Trevor’s done, and we like Paxton as a young guy we targeted in the draft that we wanted,” Elway said, per Legwold.”I think sometimes people look at things like the sky is falling. We like the team we’re putting together. … Pat Bowlen wants this team to be in position to compete every year, and we think we’re doing that.”
