Brody Jenner joins 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' full time

Reality television has many things going for it, but, over the past few years, it's been missing something. This week, we figured out what that is: Brody Jenner.

Thankfully, that's about to be remedied, as the 29-year-old will be joining the rest of his family on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," E! announced Monday.

Since "The Hills" bid us adieu in 2010, not much has been seen of Lauren Conrad's ex-boyfriend. In the first decade of this millennium, he was basically the head hottie of reality television, starting with "The Princes of Malibu" in 2005 and following it up with MTV's "The Hills" and his own guy-friend search party contest show, "Bromance."

In between those gigs, Brody has stopped by "Kardashians" here and there to see his father, Bruce Jenner, and the rest of his family, including half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and step-siblings Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian.

"I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and getting to know my extended family a little better," Brody told E! News.

"I've been blessed with a very large family, 10 kids, and I've been waiting for years for Brody to break down and spend more time with the family," Bruce added. "I'm very excited."

Brody is also known for his public romances. He was serious with singer Avril Lavigne -- they were together from March 2010 through January 2012 -- and famously dated Conrad and her nemesis Kristin Cavallari, as well as Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, and Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole.

The new season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" will premiere in June on E!.
