Britney Spears, Sam Asghari Get Cozy In New Instagram Photo
Love could be in the air for Britney Spears as she continues to spark romance speculations after sharing a Snapchat image on Instagram over the weekend. In the uncaptioned photo, Spears and rumored boyfriend Sam Asghari showed their goofy sides as they used Snapchat’s puppy filter.
The Instagram post also fueled the rumors that Spears and Asghari were having a slumber party, People noted. The publication added the rumored couple has been igniting speculations about their relationship since November, after they met on the set of Spears’ music video, “Slumber Party.”
The latest social media post came after Spears shared a photo of herself and Asghari having dinner together. The couple also reportedly spent the holidays and welcomed the New Year together. Us Weekly even revealed Spears brought Asghari to CAA agent Cade Hudson’s 30th birthday party in Beverly Hills just a week ago.
"They went on a few dates,” an insider told E! News. “It's not as big as people think it is, but you never know. Who knows what will happen in the New Year?"
Though the rumored couple has yet to confirm their relationship, Spears and Asghari have not been shy about sharing their intimate photos on social media platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat. According to Daily Mail, the 35-year-old pop star and her Iranian lover have been spotted together on multiple occasions. They have also been seen in bed together when Asghari shared videos of the two of them on his Instagram story.
Meanwhile, an insider revealed that Spears has been candid about feeling lonely, and the “Baby One More Time” hitmaker was totally enamored with Asghari. The source added Spears doesn’t want to go public with her relationship with the dancer until her sons, 11 year-old Preston and 10-year-old Jayden, have met Asghari properly.
“This is the longest Britney has ever been out of a serious relationship and she's made no secret of the fact that she's been desperately lonely,” the insider said. “She's been quietly dating for the past year, but Sam is the first man she's met who has swept her off her feet and she's totally smitten. Britney doesn't want to go public with Sam until the boys have met him properly.”
In other related news, Spears’ ex and music producer Scott Storch has filed an annulment case. Based on another Daily Mail report, Storch wanted his marriage to Christina Gray in June 2011 annulled, claiming they were “extremely intoxicated and not of sound mind.”
