Britney Spears has praised her ex Justin Timberlake as a “genius”, despite the pair having “one of the world’s biggest breakups”.
The pop icon posted a video to her Instagram in which she could be seen dancing to Timberlake’s 2018 single “Filthy”, and sweetly addressed the elephant in the room.
“I know we had one of the world’s biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius !!!!” Spears wrote in a caption.
“Great song JT !!!! Pssss if you KNOW WHAT’S GOOD.”
Timberlake welcomed the nod, commenting with a laughing emoji and three praise-hands.
In recent weeks Spears has used Instagram to praise the Robert Downey Jr flop Dolittle, clarify she is not faster than Usain Bolt and pledge support for democratic socialism.
