The search for "The X Factor" continues.
Britney Spears and her fellow judges hit another audition city recently, but so far, no one has stood out as the definitive singer with "The X Factor."
"Potential... serious potential," the pop star said, when asked by a show crew about the talent the judging panel has found in two different cities - Austin and Kansas City. "But not quite 'X Factor.'"
Britney, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato were joined by UK "X Factor" judge Louis Walsh at the Kansas City stop and the judges said they were surprised by the contestants trotted out for them in the locale.
"I feel like we've had... some bizarre performances overall... Pretty, pretty bad," Britney said.
"Awful," Louis chimed in.
Louis has been filling in because Simon Cowell is sick, but he's blending right in.
"He's a champ," Britney said of the Irishman, a boy band manager.
"Britney likes me and Demi likes me," Louis said.
And so far, the judge with the biggest sway has apparently been the "I Wanna Go" singer.
"We tend to agree with Britney more than others... She has amazing taste," L.A. said.
"You ganged up on me one time, though... It wasn't nice," Britney said.
"The X Factor" returns for Season 2 this fall on FOX.
