British band Architects on Friday halted their show after its lead singer Sam Carter saw a man groping a young woman. Before moving onto the next song, Carter lashed out at an unidentified man in the crowd saying: “It is not your f------ body”

The incident happened during the band’s performance at Lowland’s Festival in the Netherlands, reports said.

A video posted by a fan shows while performing during the show, Carter paused and said, “ ‘I’ve been going over in my f------ mind about whether I should say something or not about what I just saw.’

Pointing out to a man in the crowd who could not be identified, he yelled, “ ‘I saw a girl, a woman, crowd surfing over here, and I’m not gonna f------ point the piece of s--- out that did it, but I saw you fucking grab at her boob. I saw it.”

‘It is f------ disgusting, and there is no f------ place for that s---,” he said. The singer further added, “It is not your f------ body. It is not your f------ body, and you do not f------ grab at someone. Not at my f------ show,” the enraged singer said.

Before moving on with his show, the singer again warned the man and said: ‘So if you feel like doing that again, walk out there and f--- off, and don’t come back. ‘Let’s keep this a f------ safe place for everybody.” The video shows the crowd cheering and applauding as the singer spoke.

Soon after the video was posted on Twitter, the users of the social media website reacted.

“I have never heard this band's songs before but I'm gonna f----- check it out now. Respect” a Twitter user Aimee K wrote.

“Much love and respect for doing that and looking out for your fans you earned a diehard fan for life .” Another Twitter user Jordan Willis wrote.

“ More bands need to use their platform for good and make efforts to keep shows safe. Way to call out the bullshit. Consider me a fan,” wrote Autumn Lavis

Some Twitter users also said that the singer should have pointed out the man. "Glad you spoke out, but better would have been you pointing out the sexual assaulter & having them thrown out & arrested.More than words, " wrote Peaches Mon Cherrie.

This is not the first time that a performer has stopped the show because of such incidents.

Last month Brendan Ekstrom, a guitarist of the rock band Circa Survive stopped the performance in St Louis, to intervene after he saw a woman pushing a man repeatedly, who was trying to kiss her.

Ekstrom later apologized on Twitter for leaving the stage abruptly and explained the reason. “ It wasn't cute. It was alarming. I'm almost forty and flirting doesn't look like that. Maybe It's that I have a daughter or that I'm older,” he wrote, according to reports.
