Brigitte Nielsen welcomes her fifth child

The actress, model and legendary Celebrity Big Brother housemate, Brigitte Nielsen, has given birth to her fifth child, a baby girl, at 54 years old.

The Danish-Italian actress, model, singer and reality television personality had the child with her 39-year-old husband, Mattia Dessi, who told People Magazine that they were "overjoyed" at the news.

"It's been a long road, and so worth it. We've never been more in love," said the couple, who tied the knot back in 2006.

Nielsen started off her career as a model and quickly landed herself roles in films like Rocky IV, Red Sonja, Cobra and Beverly Hills Cop II. She became something of an 80s icon.

Nielsen was once married to her Rocky IV and Cobra co-star, Sylvester Stallone, and has had four sons: Raoul Meyer Jr, 23, Douglas Meyer, 25, Killian Gastineau, 28, and Julian Winding, 34.

Arnold Schwarzenegger also previously revealed in his memoirs that he and Nielsen had had a "hot affair" whilst filming their slightly-forgettable epic, Red Sonja.

Nielsen had announced her pregnancy via Twitter back in May, showing her baby bump to the world in a simple cream coloured dress.

There's no news yet on what they'll call the child, Nielsen's first daughter, who weighed 5lbs 9oz. Raoul, Douglas, Killian and Julian are all very strong names, so we'd expect to see something similar for Nielsen and Dessi's first daughter.
