Brigette Nielsen Welcomes a Baby Girl With an Iconic Name at Age 54
Age ain’t nothing but a number — just ask Brigette Nielsen. The Strange Love star has just given birth to her fifth child!
As People reports, the 54-year-old actress and husband Mattia Dessi have welcomed a bouncing baby girl — Nielsen’s first! — into the world, weighing in at 5lbs. 9oz.
“We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives,” a statement to the outlet read. “It’s been a long road, and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love.”
The happy twosome also shared their sweet babe’s name with the mag, and it’s one that’s rather iconic: Frida.
Nielsen shared the news that she was expecting back in May, with a shot of herself holding her burgeoning belly. “Family getting larger,” she wrote alongside a heart emoji.
The reality star is already a mother to sons Julian Winding, 34, with ex-husband Kaspar Winding, Killian, 28, with ex-fiancé Mark Gastineau, and Douglas , 25, and Raoul Aryton Meyer Jr., 23, with ex-husband Raoul Meyer.
Nielsen married Dessi back in 2006. She shared a sweet selfie with her husband while driving in the car together earlier this week, writing, “You’ll be a great papa. Ti amo.”
